This movie wasn’t what I expected at all. You see, stupid old me thought that The Dark Knight was its own movie–and not a sequel to Batman Begins. Yeah. See? So, I thought it would be TERRIBLE. Instead, it was so much better than I has expected. Any way, It wasn’t mind blowing, but it was pretty good. In fact, if I hadn’t seen The Dark Knight first, I would so totally be in love with this movie.
So, we will commence with he fabulously long reviews, shan’t we? Well maybe. Any way, the movie was so totally awesome.
Quotes
Bruce/Batman:
[to Ducard] I seek…The means to fight injustice. To turn fear against those who prey on the fearful.
[To the homeless man he traded with earlier in the movie]Nice coat.
Well, a guy who dresses up like a bat clearly has issues. (he says this to some other rich people at his birthday party or something–obviously as Bruce.)
It’s not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me. [Quoting Rachel Dawes]
Gordon:
[to Batman]I think you’re trying to help…” [notices that he is gone]“But I’ve been wrong before.I gotta get me one of those. [Referring to the batmobile]
Crane/Scarecrow:
[to rachel]“This is where we make the medicine. Perhaps you should have some…clear yourhead.
[to Batman-after breathing in his 'fear toxin'] “”Dr. Crane isn’t here right now. But if you’d like to make an appointment…”
Various quotes:
[Bruce reading newspaper] ‘Drunken Billionaire Burns Down Mansion’
and then there’s that one quote where Bruce is talking to Lucius about cave diving and spelunking or something…but I don’t remember it and can’t find it on the internet.
(I got most of these quotes off of wikiquote)

Favorite characters:
Of course I have to have them!
1. Cillian Murphy/The Scarecrow. Reasons for this choice are quite simple actually: I love this actor and, he did a great job for the short parts he got.
2. Bruce Wayne/Batman/Christian Bale
3. Michael Caine/Alfred
4. Gary Oldman/Gordon
5. Morgan Freeman/Lucius Fox
6. Ducard/Ra’s Al Guhl/Ken Watanabe
7. Katie Holmes/Rachel (Maggie Gyllenhaal actually did a better job at Rachel in the 2nd movie.)
8. Bruce’s Dad
9. Fake Ra’s Al Guhl
10. The guy who owned Wayne co. before Bruce
Rating:
Overall, I give this movie a 4.3 out of 5!
it was great! So go watch it! I still advise seeing it even if you saw TDK before. Your expectations may be higher for BB if you saw TDK first though I must warn you. Nevertheless, it is good. So deal with it.
